Now this is a true horror story!!!!!!!!
What are you reading? I’m reading a mystery!!!!
Did you hear about my new job at the golf course? I’m now a “branch” manager! Hahahaha!! (You laughed–I know you did!!)
My book signing at the Soo Line Museum was very fun yesterday! Well, except when a former high school classmate of mine pulled a fake mouse out of his shirt pocket to scare me! He’d read the article in the C-I Courier which mentioned my fear of mice. After I got over the initial shock, I have to admit it was rather funny and he got me good. However, I am writing a second book and I have a very long memory!!!!
Your favorite goofball author will be signing books at the Soo Line Depot Museum behind Super One on Friday, June 18 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p. m. Stop by and check out the museum. There are lots of historical artifacts on display–not including me of course!!
On Tuesday, June 22 I will be in downtown Brainerd during their Destination Downtown Brainerd day. You can find me between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on 7th St. in between Front and Laurel Streets. If I look lost, please direct me!
Books will be available for purchase for $15. Or bring a copy and I’ll happily sign it. Books are also available on Amazon either as an eBook or a paperback. The link is: https://amzn.to/39YciE4
Please stop by and say hi! Remember I’m writing a second book so be nice to me!!!! Being an author is hard work as you can clearly see!!
A heartfelt thank you to all of you who came to the book signing at the Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library in Crosby last night! A huge thank you to Abby for hosting and to my helpers Denise, Martha, Ellen, Sam and Maddie! I couldn’t have done it without you! And to all of you who came to buy a book or have me sign one or just to say hi, thank you so much!!!! I didn’t realize I even knew that many people who knew how to read!! Seriously, we started with over a hundred books and almost ran out. You are incredible! Thank you all so very much!!!!
My friend Carol Meyer’s Mom Ethel is 93. She picked up my book and started reading it and told Carol it was a “scream!” She said it was one of the best books she’s ever read. Ethel was a wonderful person–very intelligent and with great taste!! It was so fun to meet her!! Thank you Ethel–you made my heart happy!!!!
I might have failed to reduce the heat from 450 degrees down to 350 degrees after ten minutes! Oops! Maybe with enough whipped cream….????
I will be signing books 3 – 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 8 outside of CatTales Books & Gifts in downtown Brainerd.
I will also be signing books 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 18 at the Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library in Crosby.
Books will be available for purchase. Stop by and say hi! Thanks again for your support!!
Thanks to all of you who have purchased the book. Much appreciated!! Hope you are enjoying it! If you would be so gracious to write a review on Amazon I’d be most appreciative. In this data-driven age, reviews are important because Amazon promotes authors with them. Your review can be something simple like, Joan is the best. I love her!! Or something like that!! Hahaha! Thank you in advance!! Again, thanks for supporting this quirky author!!
